I haven’t written in a while. It’s not on purpose. I have some of the best ideas while out and about, and then they leave me before I have a chance to write them down.

Sometimes they’re hilarious and it makes me sad when I can’t remember why I was laughing so hard 30 minutes prior. Ah well.

So, I’m trying to use the memo section of my fancy phone to keep track of some of these ideas. And you know, it’s probably a good thing to write them down and let them simmer before actually posting them. If you follow my Facebook posts, you all know I’m a hot mess and will say anything that comes to mind. But that’s why you love me, right? Anyway, writing them down means I get to come back to them later that night or the next day and can determine if they really were as funny as I deemed, or if I’d merely had one too many martinis. About 70% of the time, the latter is true. Sadness.

Anyway, here’s a glimpse at the moments I’ve been re-living lately…

Birthday Fun and one of the few pictures that aren’t too blurry from that night. If you’ve never been to Cantina I in Pepperplace, you must go. And when you go, you must tell Jorge I sent you. And you must order the prickly pear margarita. It will be the best margarita you’ve ever had:

This light fixture (at Cantina). How gorgeous is that??!

This moment from the ITF 5K in February. I’m exhausted here, just finished the 4th and final WOD and still have a very hilly mile to run. I’m digging deep. And sweating heavily. The thoughts going through my head here are priceless:

I look like I want to cry.

I look like I want to cry.

This guy, because life is about celebrating every event and learning from them, right?

And our annual family photo, which never disappoints:

Yes, that's a harmonica my niece is playing. Too bad you can't hear it.

There’s hilarity, inspiration and food floating in my head as we speak. I’ll get on another post asap! 😉

Thoughts? I'd love to hear them!
